Android di Tahun 2014 ?
Android memang sebuah operating system mobile yang kini sangat populer. Lihat saja majalah tentang handphone atau website website yang mengulas tentang ponsel, kini hampir seluruhnya membahas tentang smartphone android.

Berikut adalah yang mungkin akan terjadi di tahun 2014 menurut pengamatan saya

- The next Android KitKat?
Apakah di tahun 2014 akan ada versi android baru setelah KitKat? Saya rasa itu waktu terlalu cepat, karena Google menargetkan 1 milyar pengguna android KitKat jadi sepertinya butuh waktu yang agak lama, mungkin awal tahun 2015 baru muncul Android versi L.
- Spesifikasi Smartphone Android makin canggih
Sekarang ini Smartphone tercanggih dipegang oleh Samsung Galaxy Note yang mana dipersenjatai processor Quad Core 2.3 GHz, 3 GB RAM (RAM terbesar saat ini), dan kemampuan merekam video resolusi super tinggi (2160x3840). Selain itu ada juga Salah satu variant Smartphone Gionee Elife E7 yang memiliki processor Krait 400 Quad Core 2.5 GHz. Ada lagi, Alcatel Idol X+ yang memiliki processor Octa Core 2 GHz. Jelas smartphone-smartphone tersebut memiliki spesifikasi processor yang luar biasa..

Sekedar info, dulu ponsel yang sudah dibekali sistem operasi seperti Nokia 9000 Communicator (OS GEOS v3.0) yang rilis tahun 1996 hanya memiliki processor Intel 80386EX 24 MHz (0.02 GHz) dan RAM hanya 4 MB.....

Seperti kita ketahui, smartphone andalan Samsung mulai dari Galaxy s3, s4, sampai note 3 banyak beredar versi replika dengan harga terjangkau 3x lebih murah dari aslinya  seperti Galaxy s4 supercopy dijual 1.7-2.4 jt dan desain hampir mirip/sulit dibedakan. Mungkin dengan hadirnya body metal pada Galaxy F, akan sulit direplikakan oleh si produsen/pembuat hp replika.

Tahun 2014, akan banyak smartphone android murah dibawah 1jt dengan spesifikasi lumayan (proc dual core,layar wvga, dll) selain itu juga akan ada smartphone android lokal/china dengan processor MTK octa core (http://inet.detik.com/read/2013/12/21/174425/2448632/317/evercoss-siapkan-ponsel-octa-core ) Smartphone-smartphone lokalpun mulai menggunakan OS Android KitKat.

You must close all local files, open and click do not warn on your central, and then recreate locals. Otherwise the locals will continue to write the tag back into your central and from your central into the locals.

Have you ever tried to access the Wall Joins tool where you have only two walls meeting?  Such as in a T intersection scenario like this:


On my Revit 2014 system, the Wall Join modifiers will not activate in the Options bar when clicking on the above join.

However, if you add a bit of temporary wall, like this:


You can now access the Options for the Wall Join.  Set your option, then delete the temporary wall.

This workaround allows you to set the "Don't Clean Join" option on a 2 wall T-intersection...

Another tip - if you have trouble selecting a particular Wall Join, select two or three walls that participate in the join and then use the sunglasses to Temporary Isolate Elements.  You should now be able to select the proper join.

It is one of the few tags that can directly access the Level parameter - quite useful, even to the point where I created secondary Design Option called Level Tagger with a bit of Ceiling on it, and then use a Ceiling "Level" Tag to give me the Level in given views.

Using Copy - Paste Aligned to Selected Levels for the bit of Ceiling, and

Copy - Paste Aligned to Selected Views for the Ceiling "Level" tag.

The secondary Design Option is only turned on when I want to use this particular tag, meaning that the Ceilings are typically hidden.


Oh, you can also tag normal Ceilings with Ceiling Tags :-)

Another method of tagging the Level parameter is using the Case Param to Param tool:

1. Add a Text SP in the Project (shared parameter) to the Category for which you want to tag the Level property (ie. Floors)
2. Use Param to Param to copy the Level parameter of Floors to the SP you added in step 1
3. Add that SP to a Floor tag to tag the "Level"
